David J. Cooper, M.D., Ph.D.
Born and educated (PhD) in the UK and move to the US as a Grad Student (Molecular Biology). MD at age 38. Married, 5 children, all grown! I am an ‘outdoor’ person and a day on my bike in beautiful Lancaster County is always a delightful experience.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Graduated from Imperial College, London (PhD Organic Chemistry). 11 years in medicinal chemistry research (Schering-Plough, SmithKline). Then Graduated (MD) from the University of Miami Medical School and after pediatric residency/Clinical Pharmacology Fellowship, spent three years in Clinical Research (Merck, Lederle). Founded Chester County Pediatrics in 1978 and in practice since. Past 10 years developed strategies for implementing Telemedicine for Pediatrics.

Emily Schoch, D.O., F.A.A.P.
Emily Schoch is a Downingtown High School graduate who joined our team in July, 2019. She obtained her Medical Degree at the University of New England’s College of Osteopathic Medicine in Maine, and completed her Pediatric Residency at Geisinger Medical Center’s Janet Weis Children’s Hospital. Prior to becoming a pediatrician Emily lived in South Dakota where she taught Elementary School on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. Dr. Schoch resides in Chester County with her family and two dogs. She enjoys traveling, painting, baking, hiking, and camping.
Jill Brazelton, M.D., F.A.A.P.
Jill Brazelton was born and raised in the Philadelphia area. She received a B.A. in Human Biology and her M.D. from Stanford University. She completed her pediatric residency training at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford in Northern California. Dr. Brazelton moved back to Pennsylvania and joined Chester County Pediatrics in 2005. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children and likes outdoor activities.
